My friend Lynne gives me the funnest projects to paint. I painted and embellished this sewing box for her daughter for a birthday gift.
It looked like this when I got it....didn't every Grandmother have one of these sewing boxes??
We spray painted it blue and I added a flower and ribbon.....
And zebra tissue to the inside...
And an initial to personalize it for her daughter...
What a fun, out of the box project for me!!! Now I'm on the hunt for a bunch of these sewing boxes. Keep your eyes out for me, will you?

She had a whole room dedicated to sewing!!! and it was a HOT MESS!!!
I must be a throwback to my Granny...cause I don't have a sewing box either. Unless, you consider the front bedroom a 'box'. ;0
